The "Gissie M" was built
in Vietnam and launched in mid 2001. The boat was delivered from
Vietnam via Singapore to Australia after a 4,000 mile voyage in
November 2001. Unfortunately however, during the voyage, an exotic
borer beetle had infested all the timber work. As a result, in February
2002, "Gissie M" was lifted from the water at The Gold
Coast City Marina, Coomera, Queensland to undergo a complete refit.
What you see here now is a world class luxury charter
vessel.
