This project involved the design of
the hull and superstructure for two 40.75m bucketwheel dredgers.
Dredging components were fabricated in Australia by Neumann Equipment
Pty Ltd. The scope of work included:
- Investigation of hull characteristics to suit dredging equipment
- Production of structural drawings for the hull, superstructure
and machinery foundations
- Schematic drawings for bilge, fuel, fire and safety systems
- Construction drawings for non structural items including navigation
mast, ventilation system, platforms and stairways etc.
- Production of stability documentation
