3000 tonne ore transfer vessel aft qtr

This vessel was designed to transfer bulk ores from a shore loading facility to bulk carriers moored nearby in deep water. This type of vessel is particularly well suited to applications where berthing and loading facilities for larger vessels are not available.

CNA has been involved in the full design of the vessel from concept design and feasibility through to shipyard selection and overseeing construction. The design has included a full vessel specification and production of structural, mechanical, systems and safety drawings suitable for approval by an international classification society. Upon completion stability documentation will be produced to meet the requirements of local and international authorities.
